Member Types

Industry Fund Contributors are signatory to the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 486, but have not applied for membership into the association.

Member Contractors are signatory to the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 486 and have been accepted for membership into the MCA-Maryland. Member Contractors are given access to amenities offered by Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA).

W/MBE Contractors are signatory to the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 486 and are a certified Women or Minority Business Enterprise.

Associate Members are corporations, firms or individuals who are interested in the mechanical construction industry but who do not otherwise qualify for active membership. Associate Members include manufacturers and suppliers of mechanical equipment and accessories, goods and services, financial institutions, insurance companies/brokers, attorneys, architects, engineers, consultants, and other professionals working in the industry.
