The Emerging Leaders of MCA-Maryland represents employees of contractors and associate members within their first ten years of their career. The goal of the group is the forge new relationships, and encourage participation in events previously thought to be for our industry’s more seasoned professionals. It is a further goal that participation in networking events, project tours and community service initiatives will strengthen our industry.
The Emerging Leaders of MCA-Maryland brings together employees of an MCA member company and industry partners who are 40 or under to share their passion for the industry. Participates have a willingness to discuss industry issues, share new technologies and identify community opportunities for involvement. Participation provides younger industry professionals the ability to enhance their personal career goals.
It is the hope of the contractor members, who face decisions related to retirement over the next decade, that MCA Emerging Leaders will rise to new levels of leadership, infuse renewed passion for the industry and benefit from new relationships made while participating in the Group. It is more important than ever to sustain interest in our profession and to establish and maintain relationships between incoming and outgoing generations.
